Welcome to our DC Area Club!
Our History! In 1950, our club was formed to create a collective venue for friendship and support, and to make a difference in our community. In war and in peace, Military Spouse Service has been making a difference throughout time. A State of National Emergency existed during this club's conception, so the main purpose then was to contribute to the work of the Red Cross and similar national organizations. As the club grew, committee chairmen were elected to fill the positions for the changing needs of the club and the CEC (Civil Engineer Corps) Community at large. "Esprit de Corps" (group pride) is alive now more then ever. Most recently, the Military Spouse Residency
Relief Act (MSRRA), that is now law, was started here in DC and affects Military
Spouses worldwide.
Service Today! We've achieved so much through the years and are now proudly serving this new decade. We provide events, activities, IA (Independent Augmentee) homefront support to further promote a CEC Community of group pride and honor in all that we do together. We have thirty activities and events planned throughout the year, and stand ready to serve as a resource for you while you are stationed here.
Service Always! Your Military Spouse Service is important to the Navy's Mission.
